Its straight-walled cylinder holds a full 12 oz without feeling oversized, while the thick stoneware body holds heat noticeably longer than a thin porcelain cup — your second cup stays as warm as your first.

Every mug is finished with a reactive glaze that moves from warm oat white at the rim into a soft mist blue toward the base. Because the glaze reacts to the kiln, no two mugs break colour in quite the same place. That variation is the point: it is the quiet signature of something fired by hand rather than stamped out by a machine.

The handle is intentionally generous. It is shaped as a full loop with a flattened inner edge so your fingers rest rather than pinch, and it stays cool enough to hold even when the mug is filled straight from the kettle.
